Event/Promotional Sampling

In 2012, DAD’S Pet Foods had come to terms with a sponsorship agreement with the Professional Bull Riders Association (PBR) in an effort to support the new distribution of DAD’S dog and cat food products in Tractor Supply locations. Having a presence on the concourse during events was one of the sponsorship benefits so DAD’S looked to a+l marketing to design and manage their event presence. Keeping the brand messaging in mind, a+l marketing staffed the events with promotional representatives wearing a “country” DAD’S logo’d shirt, blue jeans, and boots. In order to engage the loyal PBR fans, a+l initiated a sweepstakes at each event that gives fans the chance to win $500 to Tractor Supply and a year’s supply of pet food with the season ending grand prize of $10,000. By doing this, a+l was able to achieve a major goal of the client in building their database. Fans were encouraged to go visit their local Tractor Supply location post event through a sample and bounce back coupon.
